Hi Everyone,
When I last wrote I think I mentioned God was preparing to dish up some fresh white stuff for me to play in. WELL, he sent me 21 inches of wet, heavy snow and it arrived with hurricane force winds.
It was a wild, wild Tuesday as the lights flickered, the phone went dead and people got stranded in our addition right in front of our house.
Wednesday we learned that snow had blown in a roof vent 'cause when it melted, it dripped through our ceiling. It was kinda funny 'cause when she first found it Mom thought LilBark had had an accident in the hallway.
Me, Dad and Snoopy helped dig out a couple of cars on Wednesday and we shoveled lots of snow. We got so much snow that I was a free bird again. Our fence was covered up and I could go any where I wanted.
Any way my humans were so sick of the weather that they got the motor home out and we went on our first camping trip of the year. It was close to home, but a nice escape. Our friends Minnie and Willa went too. Even Jennie and Chris came for a few hours on Saturday.
Friday afternoon Dad took us for a real long walk while Mom did her homework and then on Saturday all the humans and all the canines went on a big hike. You'll see below that we were pretty tired and had to rest after we got back. Notice that a couch isn't good enough for Bark - he has to retire on the bed!
As much as I LOVE the snow,I'm glad it's camping season. So hope you find adventure wherever you can!
